We are placed in a village near Fátima and Ourém, named Sobral. Its inhabitants early fpund out that agriculture and pastoral was not enough for economy.

Having Fátima´s apparitions as background, several people, such as Valentim Fernandes Henriques, thought that an industry of articles of faith destinating Fátima would be profitable.

The industry of Articles of Faith was created in 1971, manufacturing rosaries only,Twenty years, in 1992, this activity was still competitive. Yet it needed to be developed.
